This was taken at dead horse point looking south into Canyonlands national park. The Colorado river can be seen below winding around a canyon it carved. This was just shortly before sunset, and you can see some haze in the distance - evidence of the high speed winds picking up lots of dust. We had some shelter sitting behind a small rock wall but it was quite windy.
